a great night.
If you are more interested in utilising your brain cells than dancing the night away, NYE Trivia at the Brighton Hotel is the event for you. Extra bonus if you want to avoid the after-midnight crowds to get home as this family-
friendly event will begin at 7.30pm with a meal and end around 11.30pm.
Brighton Hotel manager Kylie Mienert said this is the second year they have run this trivia night and it was a great success. “Last year our New Year’s Trivia Night was completely booked out,” Kylie said. “Everyone loved it last year and we are excited to do it again.”

For the serious New Year’s Eve night owls, Mr Henderson will have your evening finishing in the early hours of 2021. They will have some fantastic live bands and a delicious food truck to help you party through the night. The New Year’s Eve festivities will commence at 6pm and will continue until 2am. While full details are yet to be confirmed – suspense – Mr Henderson co-owner Tony Bates said it will be an incredible night and is looking forward to celebrating a fresh start.
“Let’s get past the year that’s been and wash away 2020,” Tony said. “And let’s all have some fun and celebrate 2021 at Mr Henderson.”
Is it even New Year’s Eve without a Karaoke session? Sandgate’s Post Office Hotel will give your vocal cords a workout from 8pm until late with their featured Karaoke event. They are also excited to launch Matso’s Oasis on the Deck. The launch is themed Escape the Ordinary and will be showcasing Matso’s beers on tap, specialised cocktails and will have plenty of prizes to start your New Year’s feeling spoilt.

Get your glow on with Bracken Ridge Tavern this New Year’s Eve will their Full Moon Party in Phoenix. The night will have you brightly shining under the UV lights while enjoying the party vibes with live entertainment music and roaming entertainment all night long. The Full Moon Party begins at 5pm and will be split into themed areas, with matching themed drink specials and even features an on-site face painter. Get your fluro outfit ready for this colourful event.
