The Sandgate Village Markets is welcoming 2021 with an increase in stallholder positions to complement the existing vendors.
The markets have been running since June last year, and run on every second and fourth Saturday of the respective month, from 8am-12pm.
Market operator Melina Wales said the markets have always been an event that focuses on supporting local and micro-businesses, where locals can find a place within the Sandgate community.
We aim to provide a safe and nurturing environment to trade, and a venue to promote sustainable and eco-living options for locals and the broader community, Melina said.
This year, Melina and the team at Sandgate Village Markets are looking for a range of stallholders to expand their offerings to the local community.
We are looking for an additional 10-20 stallholders, and we are excited to support local makers, artisans, eco products, fresh produce, baked goods, flowers, plants and garden products, gifts and homewares, she said.
The markets also host a bunch of stalls that include fashion, authors, jewellery, arts and crafts, live music from local musicians, and coffee and food stalls.
