Top 5 Christmas Movies on Netflix
Looking for some Christmas cheer? Well, we’ve found five festive features currently on Netflix.

In a race against the clock, Santa’s son must deliver a missing present to a little girl on Christmas Eve. Bringing together a great British voice cast, there’s plenty of cute one-liners mixed in with some dry Pommie humour, making it enjoyable for all ages.

Based on the classic book by Chris Van Allsburg, we follow a boy who is losing his Christmas cheer on an animated adventure to the North Pole to see a certain jolly beardy bloke. There’s not much star power in the cast but when you have Tom Hanks voicing six characters, what more could you ask for? It’s a fun festive family film that helps remind us of the spirit of Christmas.

You had me at Hugh Jackman as the Easter Bunny. Joining our boy from Oz are a host of Hollywood stars playing other kids’ favourites such as the Tooth Fairy, the Sandman and, of course, Santa. United by Jack Frost, they must band together to fight a dark force threatening the world. There are some slightly darker moments that might spook very young viewers, but it’s still a good movie for the kids.

One of Will Ferrell’s first starring feature film roles, he plays a fish/elf out of water, journeying from his winter wonderland to the big city determined to find his real father. Ferrell turns the naivety up to 11 in a great comedy that is a must for those after a few good belly laughs.

Ever wondered how Christmas traditions started? Well, in this Santa story we meet a postman named Jesper and a carpenter named Klaus, who join forces to save a small town and maybe even start a magical tradition or two. With stunning visuals and an engaging story, it’s easy to see how this film was nominated for a Best Animated Feature Oscar.

This is a hidden gem that is definitely worth your time.
