SANDGATE DISCOVERED
On March 18, 32 seniors from the Forest Lakes Seniors Group travelled to Sandgate to discover the hidden historical treasures at the Sandgate Historical Museum. They were entertained by some of the friendly volunteers and enjoyed browsing the displays, learning about our local history, and finding out about the area’s many beautiful historic and heritage listed buildings. After a drive around some of Shorncliffe’s historic streets and houses they enjoyed morning tea at the Q.C.Y.A. before continuing their tour along Flinders Parade and on to Redcliffe. You too can get a slice of Sandgate history, at the Tea with History event on Thursday, May 26 at 10am at the Sandgate History Museum.

At only $10 per person bookings are essential as numbers are limited.

Phone 3869 2283 on Wednesday or Sunday to book, or email info@sandgatemuseum.com.au
