If you’re interested in a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to learn about all things cheese, then the Cheese, Sourdough, and Fermented Foods Workshop is a great place to start.
This event will take place on Sunday, 18 April, at the Living Balance Health Centre in Brighton, and is an excellent learning workshop for the complete beginner.
Permaculture Realfood owner Elisabeth Fekonia said locals could expect to come out of the workshop feeling confident.
“Attendees will leave feeling confident that they can make feta, mozzarella, and halloumi cheese at home – and make sourdough and other fermented foods,” Elisabeth said.
The workshop includes two three-hour cooking classes, where participants will also learn about nature and the microorganisms that do the fermenting.
“I always aim at the beginner and try to set people on their own path of learning, as they take what we covered in the workshop and practise it at home,” Elisabeth said.Bookings are essential and tickets start at $79. www.permacultureproduce.com.au.
