 Dance Your Covid Blues Away
Staying active is taking a step in the right direction with Co.As.It Community Services running free Latin dance classes for anyone looking to meet new people, have fun and improve their fitness.

Conducted in a COVID-safe environment, the dance classes have been designed for people aged 16 and up with the group activity held at the newly renovated Amici House.

Professional Latin dance teacher Rafael Pitarello will instruct the classes and said dancing helps improve coordination, memory, endurance and flexibility.

Most importantly, it makes your heart happy, he said. I guarantee, you will see a huge difference in your overall mood, decrease stress levels, and a boost to your overall well-being.

The dance classes will run weekly commencing Wednesday, 1 September with two sessions to choose from ' 10.00am to 11.00am and 11.15am to 12.15pm.

You don't need a partner or any experience to join the class. Just comfy clothes, comfy shoes and willingness to learn something new.

Rafael said he would have participants shimmying in no time.

Everyone feels welcome at the classes.

The Latin dance classes are free, however, bookings are essential. To find out more and to reserve a spot, contact Co.As.It. Community Services on 3624 6100.
