Decorate Your Own Dried Wreath
This Christmas, impress your family and friends by festooning your front door with a floral wreath of your own making.

Wallflower Floral Design in Deagon is offering dried wreath and fresh wreath workshops in November and December.

Owner Renae Handy will show participants how to make their own wreath in the hands-on, two-hour session.

In the dried wreath workshop, participants will be making their own dried circle wreath using a mix of preserved flowers, grasses and foliage such as banksia leaves, amaranth, ruscus, paper daisies and pampas grass,ť Renae said.

They can hang these on their front door for Christmas or place them on a table as a centrepiece, or they can hang them on their internal wall as a piece of art all year round.ť

Tickets are $165 for the dried wreath workshops and $145 for the fresh wreath workshops. Both include all flowers and materials and also a delicious grazing platter and a glass of wine,ť Renae said.

There is no experience necessary so anyone can attend.ť

Those keen to get creative will find plenty of interesting workshops at Wallflower.

Wallflower offers lots of different types of creative workshops, such as embroidery, pottery, terrariums, floral table centrepieces, macramĂ© and floral arranging,ť Renae said.

Workshops are capped at 20 participants. Participants must be over 16 years of age. For dates and times and to book tickets search for Wallflower Floral Design on Eventbrite.
